Guidelines for Oral and e- e-Poster Presentations

Scientific Sessions (Oral):

  • Each presenter will be given a total of 10 minutes which includes 8 minutes of presentation followed by 2 minutes of question-and- answer session.
  • Use PowerPoint slides to support your talk
  • The title slide should have only the presentation title and paper code. Need not to include name or designation in the presentation.
  • File format: please save your PowerPoint presentation as a .pptx file. File name should be your paper code+ oral. (e.g. KSBAUD25Oral.pptx).
  • Font size: minimum 24 points, preferably 26.
  • Limit the number of lines of text used per slide – easier for viewers.
  • The PowerPoint presentation should not exceed 12 slides (including the title slide)

Scientific Sessions (e-Poster):

  • Each presenter will be given a total of 5 minutes which includes 4 minutes of presentation followed by 1 minute of question-and- answer session.
  • Design your e-Poster in PowerPoint (PPT), all information must appear within ONE slide only. Under Design, choose Slide Size: “Custom (A4 paper – Width 27.51 cm, Height 19.01 cm)” with a landscape (horizontal) orientation. All the information (i.e., text, data, photos, and figures) must be designed to appear within one window.
  • Use a font size of a minimum of “13” for the contents and a minimum of “14” for the title.
  • The e-Poster should have the highlighted paper code (eg: KSBSLP001) on the left-hand top corner.
  • Title of the e-Poster (should match with the submitted abstract), names and affiliations of all authors [each author to be marked with superscript Arabic number (such as 1, 2)] with their corresponding institute affiliation must appear at the top of the e-Poster.
  • The title and subheadings should be written in bold. Italics should be avoided as it would be harder to read from a distance.
  • Save your PPT into .pptx format. File name should be your paper code+ poster (e.g. KSBSLP01Poster.pptx)
  • e-Posters shall be displayed in the designated room/halls of the conference for one entire day. However, it is mandatory for the presenters to be available (the scientific presentation schedule will be informed at the venue) for discussion during the time allotted for evaluation.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

  • The deadline for submitting e-Posters and Oral Presentation Slides is October 06, 2025.
  • Please send your submissions to ishaksb17sci@gmail.com. Subject of email should be the paper code+ oral/poster +”submission” (e.g. “KSBAUD50_POSTER_submission”)
  • As stated in the Call for Papers notice:
    • Students and professionals from outside Kerala are not required to be ISHA-KSB members to present scientific papers.
    • Associate Membership is necessary for other professionals who are authors or co-authors of scientific papers being presented at the conference; lack of membership will disqualify the paper from being presented.
    • The presenting author must register for the conference to be eligible to present their scientific paper.

****For any presentation-related queries, please contact the Scientific Committee desk well in advance of your scheduled slot on the conference day. Email queries should have an appropriate subject line with the word ‘Enquiry’ and a clear mention of the issue.
