Greetings from ISHA-KSB!
We invite researchers and professionals to submit abstracts for the 17th Annual Conference of the ISHA KSB. Join us in advancing Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology through academic excellence and meaningful exchange. Submit your abstract via Google Form by 15th September 2025 as per the guidelines given below.
Guidelines for Abstract Preparation
Preparation of Abstract
- The abstract must be based on original clinical or research work conducted by the authors themselves. Reviews of literature or compilations of other people’s work will not be accepted.
- The abstract should be organized into the following sections: Title, Introduction, Need for the Study, Aim & Objectives, Method, Results & Discussion, and Summary & Conclusion (references are optional). The total word count should not exceed 1200.
- Ensure that your abstract is checked for similarity (i.e., plagiarism) with previously published works. Only abstracts with ≤ 30% similarity will be considered for review and potential acceptance.
- By submitting the abstract, authors assume full responsibility for ensuring that the content and title of the final research paper match those of the abstract. Any discrepancies will result in appropriate disciplinary action by the scientific committee.
Submission of Abstract
- Abstracts must be submitted via the Google Form (https://shorturl.at/681mJ) before 15.09.2025. Abstracts received after this deadline will not be considered. Scan the QR code for google form.
- Abstracts should be submitted in .docx (word document) format and should not include the names of authors or their affiliations.
- Contact information of the corresponding author, names and affiliations of authors, title of the paper, and other relevant information should be filled in on the Google Form. Upload the abstract in the appropriate section.
- The title and author list submitted with the abstract are final and cannot be changed later (no additions, deletions, or reordering). Any one of the original authors may present. For research by students, supervisors must ensure details are correct before submission.
- Submissions should be made exclusively by the corresponding author using the email ID provided in the submission form.
- For research papers by students, it is advised to have a supervisor, such as a teaching faculty member. The supervisor’s name should be included in authors list and should be the corresponding author.
